Anatomicals

Boa tarde.

Today I'm going to write about the Anatomicals products that spiked your curiosity so much. I hope I didn't keep you waiting long, very convenient circumstances have enabled me to test out the products imediately and form an opinion real quickly, I think. As usual, this post will be bilingual and all prices and links will be either from the brand's website or ASOS, which I think may be the best places to buy them.

A marca chama atenção pelas cores das embalagens e os nomes e descrições peculiares dos produtos, e claro, o seu slogan "we only want you for your body". Eu decidi testar, e hoje começamos a avaliar os resultados.

Anatomicals, as I see it, is a fairly recent indie skin care brand, whose home is in the UK, and claims to, and mostly seems to acomplish it, threaten the dominance of big brands and "save the british from boring beauty regimes", with a vast product line with great value and relatively low prices for all body parts, from head to toe and everything in between. The brand catches the eye with its colorful packaging and peculiar product names and descriptions, and obviously their slogan "we only want you for your body". I decided to test, and now I'm reporting on the results.
This mud mask will give you a complexion that you won't want to cover at the next masked ball. Just be careful that your newly aristocratic skin doesn't encourage deadly swordfights, only chivalrous attention. - 15ml, £0.99 (Packet)

This mask, I'm saying it up front, was my favorite product. It is a mud mask and as you can see it's pretty green and muddy. It is very liquid when you take it out of the packet, but starts drying almost immediately, and then hardens, but not uncomfortably so in the quantities I used, personally. I would never use the 15ml at once. Actually this packet lasted me about 3 weeks, 2 full face masks each week. It leaves the skin super smooth and healthy looking, matte but still luminous, and free of oils to the touch anyway. I loved the feeling when I used it, not really sure why. I also think it may have calmed and sped up the healing of my spots, but it might have been my imagination, cause it wasn't anything dramatically different.I would rather have it in a big old 200ml tube, even if it came quite a bit more expensive, so I wouldn't have to worry about it for a year or so. (Oh, and it does not smell...mom says it actually smells good..not sure myself)
Chapped, sore, blistering lips driving you to insanity? Then apply this therapy in a tube (yes, on a couch if you like). Its ingredients will ensure you have lips so smooth moisturised and kissable, you will want to plant a gigantic smacker on everyone and anyone. eun toothless octogenaeian grandparent, go on run!
Dryness and soreness making your lips want to climb your face and throw themselves off a high forehead? then give them therapy in a tube with this soothing balm. not made in a lab containing nuts. 15ml - £3.63

I started using this one pretty soon because my chapstick that I take to the beach was on its last leg, and this seemed a better format for the heat than another chapstick,  and it seems like it's true..It comes with a lot of product for a fairly good price. It does not contain SPF, but none of the ones I had to choose from had it, so  it didn't really matter. It smells super nice, like nuts or almonds or whatever is in it. It sinks into the lips a bit, and it's really light on the lips, not shiny or glossy, not sticky and not even slippery, making it good for a lot of situations.  But what really got me was the tube. It works so too much product never comes out, and the smooth chiseled edge is genious, as it adapts way better to the lips than the traditional ones do. I feel like it might not be the most moisturising of lip balms, but it works for me.
Holy Cosmic Pus Blasters Batman, it's the beautiful SpotGirl with her magical wand of bacteria busting night and day treatment. She's more than a match for the pure evil Professor Pimple and his bag of date disaster tricks. You're so right Robin, I might ask her out myself.Too late my bat winged friend, watch out, here comes a Superman to sweep her off her feetDamn that Spidey

Welcome ladies to the cosmetic equivalent of a nuclear warhead. It'll blast your (comunist red) spot into oblivion. And the fallout? why, a hot date with the chap of your dreams - 7ml (3,5 x 2) - £4.48

This is the product I'm most unsure about. For starters, I have a love-hate relationship with the packaging. On the one side, the aplicator makes it easy to apply the product precisely, on the other, it's not very hygienic. And then one of the sides broke, or rather, came apart. I don't see a big difference between the day and night parts, aside from the longer ingredient list, and the slight light  tinge when concentrated. The results are hot and cold. At the beginning it looked like it was going to be impressive, now not so much. And it has parabens in it.

Now I still have to test the eye gel, but I'll leave you with other products I'd like to try.
